Paris Fashion
Week is in full swing, with shows from Balmain, Balenciaga, Carven, Christian
Dior, Nina Ricci, Isabel Marant, Chloe and John Galliano already now behind us.
Ahead, we're staring down the barrel of Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu and
Elie Saab.
It is fair to
say that fashion week in Paris really is like no other. The shows themselves
consist of the "Big Boss" designers, so we know that we're always
going to be blown away by the new collections.
The other
reason Paris is different is the street style. Each fashion capital has it's
own distinct style, which has somehow manifested itself over hundreds of
fashion weeks.

Week is elegant, sophisticated, and has a certain edge that can be immediately
recognised. It certainly doesn't hurt that each picture shows a backdrop of the
streets or gardens of Paris, which looks beautiful and picturesque even in the
grey winter light.
